Managing Director appointed to the Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board
Dongara Marine is pleased to announce that our Managing Director, Rohan Warr, has been elected to the Board of the Mid West Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MWCCI). The appointment is for an initial two year period.
"Having participated in a number of MWCCI events in recent years I have come to more fully appreciate the benefits of membership, in particular the ability to exchange and discuss information, experiences, and ideas with other local business owners and managers," Rohan said.
"It's an honour to be appointed to the Board and I look forward to being able to give back to the MWCCI and helping it continue to help businesses across the Mid West."
The MWCCI represents over 390 member organisations, and fosters an environment for members to build mutually beneficial and lasting business relationships through a variety of networking events.
It also provides a united voice when engaging with local, state, and federal governments and other forums including providing an avenue for Governments to consult with industry on issues, plans, and strategies that could impact the Mid West business community.
The MWCCI also plays an important role in keeping the region's business community informed of issues and opportunities pertinent to them, including events, tenders, major projects, and Government activities and provides support for training and professional development for staff in member businesses.
